NGBA REC Basketball registration dates for the 2025-2026 season are:

• September 2nd thru September 30th
  • If your player is not registered during this time frame, he/she will be subject to a waiting list and is not guaranteed placement on a team.
  • Cost: $325.00 per player, including a player jersey and matching shorts
    • $50.00 off each additional family member/player registration (must use the same parent account for all children and by clicking on the 'Register Another Person' button)
  • Refund Policy: Registration fee is fully refundable during the first 3 weeks of open registration or from Sept 2nd thru Sept 23rd. 
    • After Sept 23rd, there are no refunds.  
    • No Hassle Refund Insurance.  For just $35 per player, you can elect to purchase the refund insurance option during checkout, which will refund the total cost at any point valid thru November 6th.  

Player assessments will be held on:

• Sunday, October 5th @ (location and time TBD) 
  • Assessments are not mandatory, but attendance is highly recommended.

Some additional information below regarding the upcoming 2025-2026 NGBA Rec Basketball season.

• Following player assessments, our volunteer coaches will assist in forming teams within each grade group division.
• Each family will be hearing from their coach, including the practice schedule that will start in late-October.  Teams practice 2 nights per week, Monday thru Thursday, for 1 hr each at a designated NG cluster elementary school or George Pierce Park gym.
• Toward the middle of November, we'll start the season with games before the Thanksgiving break.  Games are typically Friday nights at the Suwanee Sports Academy and occasionally at the George Pierce Park gym on Saturdays.  Games get played from 5:30 pm thru 10:00 pm with our younger athletes playing first/earlier in the evening and our older athletes starting later.
• Fast-forwarding thru the Winter break (no practices or games), we'll pickup with practices and games into January, with the season-ending playoffs per grade group in mid-February.

As a fully volunteer organization, we are always looking for parents who want to support the program by volunteering their time to help coach a team.  We are looking for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches.  Playing an active role in your child's REC basketball journey is rewarding and fun.  See link below to sign-up! 

If you are interested in being a coach for the 2025-2026 season, you will need to register above. Once registration is closed, the Director of the grade group you requested will contact you to let you know if you have been selected.
